3. Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F):

This dimension reflects how individuals make decisions and evaluate information. Thinking types prioritise logic, reason, and objective analysis when making decisions, often focusing on what makes sense and is fair. Feeling types, on the other hand, prioritise personal values, emotions, and empathy, considering the impact of decisions on others' feelings.


4. Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P):

This dimension describes how individuals approach the external world and deal with the outside environment. Judging types prefer structure, organisation, and closure, seeking to make decisions and plan ahead. Perceiving types are more flexible, adaptable, and spontaneous, preferring to keep options open and explore possibilities.

These 16 personality types can be grouped into four main categories based on their shared cognitive preferences – Analysts (NT), Diplomats (NF), Explorers (SP), and Sentinels (SJ).
